Job Details
Demonstrates basic knowledge of pediatric growth and development, recognizes deviations from the norm, has competency in administering a variety of assessment tools/therapy techniques for the age groups they serve. Recognizes limitations and seeks guidance when appropriate. Participates in ongoing continuing education and to enhance clinical skills. Actively supports department and hospital goals and mission statements. Works collaboratively with other disciplines within the department and key professionals within the hospital and community.Complies with all requirements for legal practice determined by state license board. Works under the supervision of Occupational Therapists with appropriate supervision and documentation of collaboration and co-signatures. Attends weekly supervisory meeting to review patient issues and changes to plans of care and reviews plans of care for any changes or updates to goals.
