DCOMM is Hiring a Construction Administrator Near Hartford, IL

DCOMM Inc. (headquartered in Austin, Texas) is hiring a Construction Administrative Assistant for our St. Louis office. We are looking for a smart, motivated, highly organized, hardworking professional to fill this position and join our team. The right candidate for this position will be self-motivated, independent and able to work under tight deadlines in the fast-paced construction industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company! This full-time position includes health insurance benefits, paid vacation time and opportunity for advancement. Experience in the construction industry is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities include a combination of the below (based on experience and interest):

  • Act as the liaison between DCOMM Office and superintendents in the field
  • Coordinate jobsite purchases and rentals
  • Prepare and coordinate submittal process
  • Research and process invoices according to company policy
  • Process Notice to Owners and lien releases as needed
  • Assist in new vendor set up by obtaining the necessary forms from vendors and subcontractors
  • Send out contracts, change orders and purchase orders via email as needed
  • Liaison between upper management and vendors/subcontractors to obtain facilitate on-site progress
  • Prepare closeout documents for ongoing projects
  • Assist in the bidding process by reaching out to subcontractors and vendors via email and phone
  • Submit and track building permits with county municipalities
  • Support the administrative functions of construction projects from the design phase through close out
  • Office administrative and field duties as needed
