JOB DESCRIPTION
We’re looking for a full-time or part- time kitchen assistant who takes pride in helping to create authentic Italian attractive and delicious dishes. The ideal candidate will have kitchen experience, can work in a fast-paced kitchen, and have a positive attitude.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Some of your duties may include:
- Prepare & bake scratch bakery products in a team environment
- Prepare fresh baked cookies, cakes, cupcakes, doughnuts, and more
- Professionally decorate cakes and pastries, when needed
- Operate commercial bakery equipment in the preparation and finishing of our products
- Maintain and sanitize baking utensils, tools, implements, machinery, and work area.
- Adhere to food safety requirements and standards while preparing and handling products.
- Provide high quality customer service and consult with customers regarding icing techniques and cake design
- Assist with other duties as assigned
You’ll need to be able to:
- Lift up to 50lbs
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Maintain a high level of organization with a strong attention to detail and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
- Experience decorating cakes and cupcakes and working in a Bakery and/or related training.
Schedule:
- We can offer a flexible schedule to provide work-life balance if the schedule meets the business needs. This position will require weekend work.
