We are seeking an Entry-Level Full Time Pharmacy Technician with IV certification to join our dedicated team.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Pharmacy Certified IV Technician, you will play a pivotal role in our pharmacy operations by ensuring accurate preparation and administration of intravenous medications and therapies. Your expertise in IV administration and inventory management will contribute to the seamless flow of our pharmacy services and the well-being of our patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and dispense intravenous medications and therapies in adherence to established protocols and industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with pharmacists and healthcare providers to maintain accurate patient records and document IV procedures effectively.
- Lead the management of pharmacy inventory, including IV medications, supplies, and equipment.
- Conduct routine inventory audits, proactively reorder supplies, and maintain precise documentation of stock levels.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of efficient inventory control strategies to optimize stock turnover.
- Provide training and mentorship to new pharmacy staff members, especially in IV administration and inventory management procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- TSBP valid certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or equivalent pharmacy specific IV certification.
- Proven track record in IV medication preparation and administration within a pharmacy setting.
- Solid understanding of pharmaceutical inventory management practices and techniques.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking and medication compounding.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with pharmacists, healthcare professionals, and patients.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain a high standard of patient care.
- Problem-solving aptitude and adaptability to handle unexpected situations during IV procedures.
- Proficiency in pharmacy software systems (CareTend) and inventory management software.
