DeNOVO Solutions, LLC is currently seeking a Configuration Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will establish and implement plans, policies, and procedures for documenting and controlling all IT-IA-IM system components, including networks, hardware, software, and associated work products throughout their lifecycle. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a comprehensive record of all system components, detailing both hardware and software, and illustrating their physical locations and interconnections. Ensuring consistency in system or product performance, functions, and physical attributes with requirements, design, and operational information will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will oversee the control of all program work products related to the development and maintenance of system hardware and software components, including concepts, requirements, designs, tests, and operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the baseline configuration for all project-related work, ensuring both project-level and office-level oversight and control.
- Develop and implement policies for documenting and changing baseline project configuration items.
- Maintain a comprehensive Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Define and establish configuration procedures for identification, change control, status accounting, and audits.
- Support the Configuration Management Board by scheduling meetings, developing agendas, entering board-related data into databases, and installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting issues related to Configuration Control Board action items.
- Record and report on the change process and implementation status for applications.
- Track and monitor the status of Change Requests (CRs), Discrepancy Reports (DRs), and Requests for Changes (RFCs) for IT-IA-IM.
Required Education and Experience:
- Eight (8) years experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity within the Federal Government is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. A Master's degree in a related discipline will substitute two years of required experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Master's degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Agile knowledge and practice (SAFe or Scrum Alliance background with Atlassian product experience in Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket)
Clearance Requirement: Must have a current/active TS/SCI with a Counterintelligence Polygraph.
