What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Health Assessment Coordinator position at Dent County Health Center?
The Dent County Health Center is seeking a self-motivated and mission-driven applicant to fulfill the role of Community Health Assessment Coordinator. The employee will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to public relations, accreditation, and community assessment, including:
- Managing Health Department Accreditation
- Attending community events
- Assisting with Health Center social media, website, and marketing
- Developing a community health assessment.
- Assisting the Administrator as needed.
The employee will be responsible for leading these efforts with the assistance of community members and DCHC staff as needed.
The employee may frequently travel locally.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and training. The ideal candidate would have:
- Education: Public Health, Communications, or epidemiology degree (MPH degree will be given preference)
- Experience: Management, assessment, grant writing, public relations, marketing, etc
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
