Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Assoicate Dentist to join our well established boutique midtown Manhattan dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating oral health issues while adhering to the highest standards of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients' teeth and gums to diagnose dental conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Utilize Dentrix for patient management and record keeping.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff members to provide comprehensive care.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development.
Skills
- Proficient in various dental procedures including dental fabrication, root canal therapy, and extractions.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental practice.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental management software is preferred.
- Understanding of infection control practices to ensure patient safety.
- Experience in pediatrics is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Job Type: Part-time - Full-time
Pay: $600.00 - $1,500 per day
