What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Officer - (Full-Time) $15/hr position at Derby City Gaming?
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the safety and security of Team Members and guests.
- Assisting in transporting money and chips.
- Controlling access to restricted areas.
- Reacting to guest and Team Member incidents and accidents.
- Monitoring guest and Team Member passage in and out of casino.
- Responsible for checking for and reporting safety hazards.
- May answer incoming calls to the facility and direct calls or answer guest questions.
- May be asked to operate a company vehicle and/or equipment that require a valid Driver’s License.
- Other duties as assigned.
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
- Maintain interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of the Emergency Disaster Plan Manual.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Able to obtain a valid gaming license. (Company will provide application)
AUTHORIZED ACCESS AREAS
- Access to sensitive areas for the purposes of escorts. In matters of emergency, will have unlimited access to any space required for the preservation of life.
AUTHORIZED KEY ACCESS
- Security keys
- Access to sensitive keys as required by dual and triple access requirements.
