RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones promptly and in a polite and professional manner.
  • Obtain and enter accurate demographic information into NEXTGEN PM/EMR
  • Schedule, and confirm appointments correctly in NEXTGEN PM/EMR including; appointment date, time, location, and provider name.
  • Inform caller of items to bring to the appointment (including insurance card and identification as required by practice)
  • Remind caller to arrive 15 to 30 minutes before scheduled seminar/appointment to complete paperwork.
  • Review cancellation/no-show policy with patient.
  • Answer questions and offer other information, as requested, to provide patient-focused service and a positive impression of the organization.
  • Seek and support changes in call flow processes and communication services.
  • Meet and exceed call volume standards.
  • Adhere to all HIPAA policies.
  • Adhere to all DAG policies.
  • Other duties as assigned, as it relates to the role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Customer service: 2 years (Required)
  • Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Computer skills: 2 years (Required)

Salary : $17 - $21
