Duties

• Perform thorough carpet cleaning using various techniques and equipment, including steam cleaning and shampooing.
• Conduct pre-cleaning inspections to identify areas needing special attention or treatment.
• Handle commercial cleaning tasks, ensuring all carpets are cleaned according to industry standards.
• Maintain and operate floor care equipment, including buffers and extractors.
• Provide custodial services as needed, ensuring all areas are clean and presentable.
• Follow safety protocols and environmental services guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.

Skills

• Proven experience in carpet cleaning, with knowledge of various cleaning methods and products.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and floor care techniques.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of environmental services practices is a plus.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks for extended periods.
