What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director Treasury Management position at Desert Financial Credit Union?
The Director of Treasury Management is responsible for the development of new business relationships, the expansion of existing business, and the delivery of Treasury Management services. The Director implements departmental strategy and leads the design, development, and implementation of new Treasury Management products and services, policies, and procedures.
What you will do here:
Closely collaborate with market leaders across the credit union and payments partners to develop, align and implement ground up strategies and drive results. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of treasury management solutions. Evaluate and deliver to the credit union competitive products, incentive plans, support systems, policies, and procedures to perform as an industry leader in small business and middle market treasury management services.
Manage and ensure that individual and team performance goals and objectives are met by using effective coaching and performance management methods.
Develop and maintain a consistent pipeline of prospective Treasury Management members utilizing consultative and strategic sales skills to turn prospects into members. Collaborate with appropriate sales partners to design a member-centric treasury management solution and provide consultative expertise on the liquidity management cycle.
Call prospective members, independently or with appropriate sales partners, focusing on complex and/or multi-national treasury management requirements.
Maintain current and comprehensive knowledge of Treasury Management products, services, industry trends, competitive environment, and service issues. Provide industry and product training to internal and external audiences including members, resource groups and sales teams.
Represent the credit union in the local and regional Treasury Management communities and industry groups.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
What you will need:
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
8 years of experience in Treasury Sales required.
5 years of leadership experience required.
Knowledge of related state and federal banking/credit union compliance regulations, and other Credit Union operational policies required.
Extensive knowledge in all facets of Treasury Management to include thorough understanding of the computer Treasury Management software required.
Ability to develop marketing and business development skills with members required.
Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills required.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills required.
