The Holiday Inn Express & Suites-Latham, is hiring for a motivated Banquet Server to join our team! This individual will help to set up and prepare banquet room for banquet functions, serve and bus tables as well as clear and tear down banquet rooms at the end of the function.
A little taste of your day-to-day
· Set tables using event standard placement of china, glassware, silverware, and accessory items according to BEO or banquet captain.
· Serve food in a prompt and efficient manner that incorporates proper service etiquette and courteous attention to the guests.
· Maintain the quality of food by serving: hot foods hot, cold food cold, including proper garnishes, condiments and any other items needed to give the best presentation.
· Place equal emphasis on beverage service, both non-alcoholic and alcoholic.
What we need from you
- Must be able to lift and carry supplies weighting up to 60 lbs as far as 8ft
- Ability to push, pull, stand, walk for the entire shift.
- Commitment to excellent guest service.
- Requires wearing a uniform and the ability to fulfill related hotel personal appearance standards.
Part Time, On Call, As needed
$17.00 per hour
