Dexter, a premier manufacturer and distributor of axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts and accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy-duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets, has an opportunity for a Non-CDL Driver/Material Handler at our distribution facility located in Odessa, TX.

Position Summary
This position involves a combination of making deliveries driving a delivery straight truck as well as working in the warehouse picking orders, packing orders, and preparing for shipping, operating a forklift, and performing other tasks and duties as assigned. Forklift experience is preferred but we will also provide training. This is a daytime, Monday - Friday position with minimal weekend work so employees can spend weekend leisure time with friends and family.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Minimum six-months experience driving a straight truck.
- Valid license with a clean driving record and be able to maintain a driver medical card.
Physical requirements include the ability to stand for long periods of time and carry objects weighing up to 70lbs. Must be able to complete forklift certification. Dexter provides on-the-job training including safety training, forklift training and company policy and procedure training.
