The Opportunity
Project Manager (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)
Are you ready to lead and inspire? Join our team as a Project Manager and drive change across our business. In this role, you will lead multiple smaller projects, working with cross-functional teams to identify and analyse problems, create innovative solutions, and make informed decisions to ensure project success.
You will make an impact by:
- Organising and guide planning sessions for project development and execution, defining project objectives and scope.
- Working with and lead teams to ensure timely delivery of quality results.
- Overseeing staffing and other resources to optimize budget-compliant project execution success.
- Developing detailed schedules, addressing project risks, and monitoring project performance.
- Handling client and stakeholder expectations to maintain productive and engaged relationships.
- Guiding business stakeholders through the effective use of project frameworks, tools and templates.
About You
Along with your strong communication skills and team-building abilities, the ideal candidate will have demonstrated skills in data analysis, documentation and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Effective time, resource, and organizational management are essential.
This role will suit someone with 2-3 years of project experience and looking to take on more responsibility in project management.
In addition:
- Tertiary qualification in project management, business or other related discipline.
- Proven track record in successful project management. Preferred certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or PRINCE II.
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and maintain clear communication within internal departments.
- Experience in managing regulatory change projects.
- Background in financial services or asset management is highly desirable.
- Advanced experience using Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
