Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Construction Project Manager with expertise in managing ground-up construction projects. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of project execution, from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Management:
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to define project scopes and ensure alignment with objectives.
  • Oversee all phases of ground-up construction, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and building codes.
  • Team Coordination:
  • Lead project teams, including subcontractors, field staff, and consultants, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Conduct regular meetings to review project progress, address challenges, and ensure milestones are met.
  • Budget & Cost Control:
  • Monitor project budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and manage change orders effectively.
  • Approve invoices, track expenses, and provide accurate financial reporting to stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure all work meets company quality standards, client expectations, and project specifications.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure safety compliance.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety audits.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and foster future opportunities.


Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction, with significant experience in ground-up projects.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ranging in size and complexity.
  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and best practices for ground-up projects.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar).
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, contracts, and specifications.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Certifications:
  • PMP Certification or other project management credentials are a plus.
  • OSHA 30 Certification required.

Salary : $100,000 - $150,000
