Key Responsibilities
- On-Site Leadership: Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.
- Scheduling: Coordinate and manage subcontractor schedules to meet project milestones.
- Safety Management: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect work to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and healthcare standards.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with the Project Manager, subcontractors, and vendors to address challenges and maintain smooth operations.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve on-site issues to keep projects on track.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress, and any changes to the project plan.
- Client Interaction: Represent the company on-site, addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 5 years as a superintendent.
- Experience with healthcare construction projects is highly preferred.
- Education:
- High school diploma or GED required; a degree in construction management or a related field is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and healthcare facility requirements.
- Proficient in construction software (e.g., Procore).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Certifications:
- OSHA 30 certification required.
- ASHE HCC or other healthcare construction certifications are a plus.
