What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Representative- BILINGUAL Spanish/English position at Diaz Foods?
Develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales while maintaining profit margin goals set by the company, performs for both divisions Retail and Foodservice. Travels out of state 3 out of 4 weeks a month, visiting customers in person, must be bilingual, fully fluent in spoken Spanish and English.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
- Visit and open new accounts in territories assigned by Management
- Work with brokers, manufactures or sales people as required by Management
- Visit and increase sales of existing accounts, coordinated with the Development Team
- Study the market and the customer, and monitor competitive actions
- Report to Management, as required, records of visits to customers and results of such visits
- Expect to plan and accomplish goals and objectives
- Attend sales meeting as required, as frequently as once a month
- Promote a positive image of Diaz Foods
- Extensive travel
- Increases sales to current customers; opens and reactivates accounts for perspective and past customers
- Completes new customer paperwork to include, but not limited to, application and credit references
- Provides a consistent, quality level of service to include initiating and follow-up with customers to sell or resolve problems and answer questions
- Resolves customer complaints effectively
- Studies the market, the customer and monitors competitive actions
- Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change and all requirements are subject to modification
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Travel out of state 80% of the time
