Combo Pipe Welder

Position Summary

Ability to fabricate, weld screw pipe, carbon steel sch 80 weld pipe, stainless steel sch 10 weld pipes; miter and fabricate all pipe; install valves; install underground pipe; install pipe hangers and supports when needed; minor valve maintenance and repair; oxygen and acetylene cutting at times; basic rigging; operation of pneumatic and electric tools.

Weld Test

• Sch 80 Carbon TIG on 2"
• Sch 80 Stainless TIG on 2"
• Sch 80 6010/7018 Stick pipe on 2"
  
  

Job Duties:

• 3-5 years of welding in an industrial setting
• Previous stainless and carbon experience is a must
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, ISO's, field installations, material takeoffs, field sketches, and understand specifications
• Good math skills
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively
• Completed work should be neat in appearance and operate properly
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Must be able to lift 50lbs or more
• Strong oral and written communication skills
