What are the responsibilities and job description for the Catechist - Catechesis of the Good Shepherd position at Diocese of Arlington Educ Office?
The Basilica School of Saint Mary, a Catholic Pre-K through eight Parish School in Alexandria, Virginia, is seeking a qualified teacher to serve as a teacher for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for the 2024-2025 School year. The Basilica School is progressively developing an Atrium and will expand instruction from our Pre-K program to the Kindergarten class. The Catechist will work closely with the Kindergarten team and with our Director of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program. The Catechist will be committed to offering excellence in our youngest students' intellectual, spiritual, and character formation. Ideal candidates will hold a Master’s degree, hold or be willing to work towards certification, and have previous Pre-K instructional experiences.
