Operations Manager

Disaster Restoration Services, LLC (DRS) is a 24/7 full service insurance restoration company that specializes in commercial and residential Water, Fire, Storm and Mold Restoration. We are a very high energy and fast paced company. We are currently hiring an operations manager to join our dynamic team.

Job Description

The operations manager is responsible for facilitating the timely and profitable delivery of all services while maintaining company standards for quality and customer satisfaction. The operations manager will effectively manage the operations function of the business to include project design, estimating, project execution, quality control, scheduling, staffing, training and development, documentation of work performed, inventory control, equipment purchases and maintenance, record keeping. The operations managers core focus is to create a project design for each now job and then to effectively execute the project to ensure resources are utilized to keep the project running on time, on budget, and with quality. Upon completion of each project, the operations manager will follow up to ensure client is satisfied and quality metrics have been met.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Create repeat customers by exceeding their expectations for quality and delivery of disaster restoration and cleaning services.
• Exceed company targets for client/customer satisfaction.
• Exceed company targets for COGS and direct labor cost performance.
• Exceed company targets for cash flow.
• Manage each stage of project management from project intake, project design, project execution, and quality control.
• Maintain production capacity through adequate staffing, equipment, supplies, and management.
• Prepare annual operations budget as part of the business planning process.
• Maintain efficient and accurate flow of production documentation from field staff to administration.
• Develop strategic goals and business objectives for the operations function.

• Hire, train, develop, discipline, and discharge operations employees.
• Create weekly staffing schedules and monthly on call schedules.
• Assist in after hours on call project dispatch and management.
• Determine requirements and execute the evaluation process for subcontractors.
• Track the financial and overall performance of individuals, jobs, and production departments.
• Maintain appropriate inventory of production supplies and materials.
• Schedule and oversee maintenance and repairs to all production equipment and vehicles.
• Hold weekly production meetings to educate and elevate team.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field OR a high school diploma or GED and five to seven years of related work experience.
• Minimum of five years experience in a management role with the ability to oversee staff, projects, and scheduling.

• Willing to travel. We service all of CT, RI, and MA, in addition to a new office in Texas. We also dispatch for catastrophic conditions. Ideal candidate would be willing to travel as needed 35-

55% of the time.

• . Valid driver’s license.
• Experience with both residential and commercial restoration projects and large loss projects.
• Adheres to jobsite security and safety standards.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
