Position Overview:
As a Driver Advocacy Specialist, you will be responsible for advocating on behalf of our drivers and ensuring their needs are met while upholding company policies and standards. You will serve as a liaison between drivers and management, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and promoting a positive working environment.
Compensation:
Starting pay at $18 per hour, with opportunities for growth based on performance. Bonus Potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop strong, positive relationships with drivers to foster trust, open communication, and long-term loyalty.
- Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the main point of contact for driver inquiries, concerns, and feedback, ensuring timely responses and resolutions.
- Driver Retention Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up check-ins with drivers at 30, 60, and 90 days to ensure driver retention, gather feedback, and address any concerns early on.
- Driver Advocacy: Champion drivers' needs and rights within the company, advocating for fair compensation, adequate equipment, and safe working conditions.
- Collaborate on Driver-Centric Policies: Partner with management to develop and implement policies and initiatives focused on enhancing driver satisfaction and retention.
- Guidance and Support: Provide ongoing support to drivers, clarifying company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve driver complaints or disputes promptly, taking appropriate action to address issues effectively.
- Equipment Return Process: Oversee the return process for equipment, ensuring a smooth and efficient procedure is in place.
- Performance Monitoring: Track driver performance and adherence to company policies, offering feedback and coaching to promote continuous improvement.
- Industry Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to driver advocacy, safety, and retention.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Technology Proficiency: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn new software systems quickly.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or a degree in business, communications, or a related field is a plus.
