SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST - DISTRICT WIDE

SPECIAL SERVICE PROVIDERS ARE HIRED ON A YEAR ONLY CONTRACT - CONTRACT RENEWAL FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR WILL BE DONE IN THE SPRING AND CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT IS BASED ON DEPARTMENT NEEDS AND BOARD OF EDUCATION APPROVAL

  • THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR A ONE TIME SIGNING BONUS OF $2,500 PAYABLE ON DECEMBER 15, 2025 AND

A RETENTION BONUS OF $2,500 AFTER THREE YEARS OF EMPLOYMENT PAYABLE ON JUNE 15, 2028

  • INTERNAL CANDIDATES NOT ELIGIBLE FOR SIGNING BONUS.
  • Starting Date : July 28, 2025

    New Teacher / Licensed Staff Orientation :

    New teaching / new licensed staff orientation will be held on July 24th & 25th

    Experience :

    District 49 credits each year of verified full-time / full-year relevant experience up to 20 years

    Work Schedule :

    182 contracted work days

    Benefits :

    Salary :

    The minimum starting pay without ASHA CCC-SLP certification is $67,632

  • year and the maximum salary is $86,640
  • year.The minimum starting pay with  ASHA CCC-SLP certification is $70,680
  • year and the maximum salary is $90,876
  • year. Initial pay placement is dependent on level of formal education and years of relevant experience (the maximum credit granted is 20 years).
  • Salary is based on 2024-2025 pay schedule and is subject to change.
  • Qualifications and Expectations :

  • MA / MS in communication disorders or speech-langauge pathology from accredited college or university
  • Valid Colorado Special Services Provider License endorsed in area of assignment : School Speech-Language Pathologist (0-21)
