We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our medical device division at Diversatek Healthcare in Milwaukee, WI. This role reports to the Distribution Center Supervisor and presents an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to join a growing company committed to excellence.
Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate will support the efficient operation of our warehouse by performing tasks such as receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products used in medical device manufacturing. This role requires strict adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO) and focuses on maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Receiving & Processing Stock:
Receive and verify incoming materials, ensuring they meet specifications for medical device production and comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., Certificate of Compliance, Certificate of Analysis). - Inventory Control:
Organize, label, and store raw materials and finished products in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA regulations, and internal procedures. - Order Fulfillment:
Accurately pick, prepare, and package orders for shipment, ensuring proper traceability and documentation. - Shipment Preparation:
Verify and package outgoing shipments, ensuring all packing slips, certificates of compliance, and other necessary documentation are accurate and aligned with customer specifications. - Inventory Management:
Conduct regular inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure proper storage of materials according to regulatory standards and company policies. - Warehouse Organization:
Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment, adhering to health, safety, and cleanliness standards as outlined by OSHA and other relevant regulatory bodies. - Warehouse Equipment Operation:
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move materials within the warehouse, ensuring safe handling and transport of medical device components. - Collaboration:
Work closely with other warehouse associates, production staff, and management to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant order fulfillment. - Quality Control:
Ensure products are stored and shipped in a manner that maintains their quality and integrity, with full traceability of lot numbers, part numbers, and all necessary regulatory documentation. - Compliance:
Adhere to all regulatory requirements for product storage, labeling, and documentation in the medical device manufacturing environment. - General Warehouse Duties:
Perform general warehouse maintenance, including cleaning, labeling, and organizing to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
Physical Demands
- Frequently required to walk, bend, stoop, balance, and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to use arms and hands to reach, pull, push, clasp, and move various materials.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, and frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Operate a stand-up forklift, electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack, and other material handling equipment.
Position Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proactive, professional, and self-motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
Preferred:
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device, pharmaceutical, or similar)
- Experience in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution department
Additional:
- Training in safety protocols and warehouse operations is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
This position offers a competitive hourly wage, starting between $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation may be available based on skills, certifications, and prior experience in a regulated industry.
