I.T. MEASUREMENT ANALYST

In 2021, Diversified announced our expansion into our Central Regional Focus Area, which includes producing areas within Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.

Responsibilities :

The I.T. Measurement Systems Analystis a key support role for our Flowcal and related systems. This position willprovide primary technical support, administration, tracking, monitoring,optimization, and availability on Flowcal, Testit and other measurement relatedapplications, ETLs and reporting needs. This role will report to theDirector of O.T. Systems, supporting Flowcal, Testit, file processing, ELT jobcreation and monitoring and business data requests. Special focus tobe placed on : Application Analyst Operational skillsets.Strong customer service skills, fielding technical questions and requests regularly, maintaining current status and notes in ticketing systems and generating regular status reportsETL support should be well versed with creating, modifying and sustaining data transfer, bulk upload and data migration jobs using multiple data sources including MS SQL, Oracle, Snowflake, CSV etc.Reporting needs Assist with the identification and query of data needed for Enterprise Reporting needs, act as the SME for data related to assigned systemsData requests retrieve information for users over and beyond the out of box report functionality.Identify Flowcal technical problems and coordinate resolution of issues with Vendors, customers and other IT resources.Flowcal DBA Support monitoring Oracle DB, managing patch and security updates directly or via managed server providers Root cause analysis troubleshooting.Independent research the ability to dig into previous tickets, emails, documents, to research past solutions.Experience and a preference to manage operational work using tickets.Champion of change management, user acceptance testing, and validations.Balance and manage the complexities of licensing obligations with application administration and support.Ability to be productive working between application and cloud infrastructure teams.Collaboration with other IT and business subject matter experts to administer, support, and maintain technical solutions.

Qualifications :

• General to advanced understanding of Flowcal, preferred but not required.
• General understanding of measurement systems and business processes for an oil and gas company.
• Desire to learn and support additional aspects of the business.
• Bachelors degree in computer information systems or a related combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, write and troubleshoot TSQL code. Scripting skills in PowerShell, vbscript or python desired to support automation tasks.
• Creative solutioning using both process and technology to achieve improved business outcomes

POSITION DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries to pull data. Support existing ETL processes (procedures, jobs, views, etc.) Understanding or awareness of the following applications for companies in the energy industry (Cygent FMS, Autosol, Maximo, Field Data Capture Systems, Historians, Data Warehouse Concepts)

Location : For entry-level candidates, onsite required in Birmingham Corporate Office. Possible remote opportunity for candidates with advanced Flowcal experience.
