Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations, including payroll, accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to assess and guide the company’s financial health.
- Manage and monitor the accounting team’s performance, delegate tasks, and review progress.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial data, including journal entries, reconciliations, and tax filings.
- Develop and maintain internal control safeguards and accounting policy SOPs.
- Provide financial recommendations to company leadership based on data analysis.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree a plus).
- 8 years of experience in accounting, with at least 4-5 years in a similar role.
- Proven knowledge of US tax regulations and GAAP standards.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong leadership capabilities and experience managing a team.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
