What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction General Labor / Warehouse position at Division 7 Construction Inc?
Division 7 Construction, Inc. is a commercial subcontractor primarily focused on firestopping, waterproofing, caulking, expansion joint installation and Division 10/Specialties installation. The company is based in Birmingham, AL, but performs work across the United States. D7 is known for professional, quality work and has extensive experience in health care construction with nationally ranked General Contractors.
Our ideal candidate will have prior commercial construction experience.
Key Responsibilities, but are not limited to:
- Help to generate quality work
- Making deliveries to different job sites
- Inventory control / Material management
- Operation of material- moving equipment
- Moving/climbing ladders and/or scaffolding
- Working in tight and/or high up spaces
- Maintain a safe and clean work area
- Work Documentation
- Communicaton with construction team on incoming - outgoing material
Required Skills and Qualifications, but are not limited to:
- Good work ethic
- Time management and the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to lift 50 LBs or over
- Valid US driver’s license
- Travel as needed, up to 2-3 days at a time
- Ability to pass drug screen(s)
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report
- Clean background check
