AutoCAD Detailer

Currently we are looking for highly motivated individuals to work as Detailers at our Open Shop (non-union) location in Duette. Our standard five-day work schedule is 8:00 am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday. Overtime hours offered most weeks. Pay based on experience.

The position will include the following responsibilities:

• Detailing for plate & misc. steel fabricating shop
• Generate arrangement drawings, assembly details, bills of material, part detail & layouts
• Checking arrangement drawings, assembly details, bills of material, part detail & layouts created by other detailers

Required Qualifications:

• Proficient in use of 2D AutoCAD
• Working knowledge of 3D AutoCAD and/or Inventor a plus
• 5 years minimum fabricating shop experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word
• Able to calculate area, volume, & weights
• Experience in pressure vessels, tanks, large & small diameter piping, ductwork, misc. platforms, ladders, etc.
• Work samples & references required
