Distinguished First Party Property & B.I. Insurance Defense Litigation Law Firm with its office in FORT LAUDERDALE is looking for an Insurance Defense Associateto join their firm REMOTELY! (This job is 100% REMOTE - must live in Florida).
***IDEAL Candidates have 1-3 years experience in any type of Insurance Defense Litigation in FLORIDA**
The base salary is shown in this posting, however, note that our firm pays bigger bonuses than other defense firms and so you'll be able to earn well over $100k for this position.
JOB DUTIES: drafting initial pleadings, written discovery, taking/defending depositions, mediation, and trial. Preparing expert witnesses for depositions, taking expert witness depositions, meeting with clients, drafting demand letters, court hearings, substantive motions, preparing and arguing MSJs, complex legal research & writing, issuing/answering written discovery, negotating with public adjusters, settlement negotations, and managing all files assigned to you. Must be able to manage a high-volume caseload autonomously. Should be highly independent, organized and able to multi-task.
