CNC Maintenance Technician
Job Description:

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and maintain preventative maintenance program for CNC equipment
- Perform repairs and upgrades on equipment when needed
- Plan and lay out repair work using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals and schematic diagrams
- Estimate repair costs, source replacement parts and effectively communicate the information to management
- Meet all quality standards in performing assigned tasks
- Contribute to production goals by having equipment prepared for daily production with minimal downtime
- Work seamlessly with engineers and maintenance technicians to aid in the design, install, and repair/maintenance of manufacturing equipment
- Ensure safe operation of equipment and machinery
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working with CNC machine maintenance
- Knowledge of programmable logic-controlled equipment
- Ability to work on and/or trouble shoot electrical issues at various voltages,
both DC and AC
- Safely operate a forklift with boom attachments
- Proficiency with programmable logic-controlled equipment
- Familiarity with Okuma machines and/or similar CNC controls
- Work with other team members to diagnose machine issues and maintain inventory of replacement parts needed
- Maintain an orderly and clean work area
- Communicate with OEM technicians to diagnose machine issues
- Work with riggers for machine set up
