I. General Job Description

This position will be responsible for the delivery and pick-up of commercial vehicles. This position will provide exceptional customer service and conduct business in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

  • Pick-up and deliver customer vehicles and new/PacLease trucks, ensuring courteous on-time delivery.
  • Adhere to safe vehicle operating procedures and legal requirements.
  • Represent the Company with professionalism and provide excellent customer service as a key contact.

II. Minimum Job Qualifications

  • 18 years of age.
  • High school graduate/GED or 1 year work experience.
  • Valid commercial driver’s license in the state of employment a qualified MVR abstract.

III. Desired Job Qualifications

  • 1 year direct customer-facing sales experience.
  • Heavy duty truck aptitude.
  • Strong organization and communication with the ability to work independently without direct supervision.

IV. Mental Capability Requirements

  • Comprehension: Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral/written instructions and information.
  • Organization: Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology.
  • Reasoning & Decision Making: Ability to apply common sense in performing job.
  • Communication: Ability to understand follow basic instructions and guidelines.
  • Mathematics: No mathematical ability is required.

V. Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme heat, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions. The noise level is normally loud.
