Job Description

  • Analyze MRP output and determine order quantities
  • Develop forecast to serve as master schedule for Material Requirements Planning system
  • Assure proper handling, identification and disposition of all items received at the warehouse
  • Create blanket releases and release materials with suppliers
  • Create material requisitions to Q.V.E. purchasing to re-order non-blanketed items
  • Help maintain and improve quality and food safety, to ensure compliance with company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirements
  • Review open purchase orders and assist in making sure the plant receives the materials in proper time frame.
  • Assist Account payable with making sure orders are received in a proper time frame and paid.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field experience.
  • Leadership skills with ability to lead and motivate team, provide guidance, uphold ethical standards, promote a culture of integrity and ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Technical competency in field with experience in Scheduling or Materials Management experience.
  • Must have ability to work independently with strong organizational skills.
  • Must have ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbal and written to convey instructions, feedback and expectations.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships, resolve conflicts, and collaborate with team members and other departments.
  • Must have excellent math skills.
  • Must be proficient in Windows application, especially Excel and Word
  • Must possess strong analytical skills.
  • Must be detail oriented and have accurate data entry skillset.
