We are seeking a highly-organized and detail-oriented Financial Controller who combines exceptional accounting skills with effective prioritization abilities to be a part of our leadership team at DOCS Health. If you are skilled in corporate accounting, financial reporting, budget and forecasting preparations, and focused on risk, this job is for you.

Responsibilities

• Manage all financial reporting and accounting operations including GL entries, bank reconciliations, A/R and A/P.
• Proficient with SAP. 
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
• Coordinate the preparation of state and regulatory filings and reporting.
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end close process.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Additional controller duties as necessary.

8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Monday through Friday

Qualifications

• 5 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
• Proven working experience as a Financial Controller
• Advanced degree in Accounting
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with creating financial statements
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
