Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Patient Care Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role is a balance of clinical and administrative responsibilities, ensuring high-quality patient care and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, compassionate, and thrive in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Duties:
- Perform vital signs checks accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare examination rooms for procedures, ensuring a sterile and organized environment.
- Conduct swabbing (COVID, flu, strep, etc.), vision and hearing tests, and spirometry tests.
- Perform EKGs and assist providers during procedures.
- Execute phlebotomy with proficiency and patient comfort in mind.
Administrative Duties:
- Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems for accurate data entry and documentation.
- Verify insurance coverage and confirm eligibility before procedures.
- Perform Annual Wellness Visits (AWV) and assist in coordinating patient care.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring patients feel valued and supported.

Work Schedule & Requirements
- Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday (8 AM – 8 PM), Weekends (8 AM – 4 PM).
- Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend is required.
- Holiday Coverage: We are open on all holidays; employees are required to work some holidays.
