Sterile Processing Technician (Part-time, 24 hours/week)
Monday-Fri (work 3 days/week) 0900-1730, day shift only, no weekends/no holidays/no call
POSITION SUMMARY: Assists the OR staff in the organization and daily function of the operating room in accordance with established Federal, State and accreditation standards and Center policies and procedures. Responsible for instrument decontamination, sterile processing, and instrument care and handling and documentation and record keeping related to those activities.
Education/Experience/Licenses/Certificates/Eligibility: High School diploma or GED. Central sterile or operating room experience preferred. Experience with AAMI standards preferred. Sterile Processing certification preferred.
