Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify potential customers within assigned territory, including fleet companies, logistics providers, and transportation businesses, through networking, cold calling, and market research.
- Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their specific trailer requirements, including capacity, type (dry van, refrigerated, flatbed), and operational needs.
- Product Presentation: Demonstrate the features and benefits of various semi-trailer models, highlighting technical specifications, customization options, and value proposition to meet customer needs.
- Quotation and Proposal Development: Prepare detailed sales proposals including pricing, financing options, delivery timelines, and customized trailer configurations based on customer requirements.
- Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process from initial contact through negotiation, closing deals, and securing purchase orders.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at customer companies through regular communication, site visits, and proactive customer service.
- Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor analysis, and new trailer technologies to effectively address customer needs and market opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Sales Experience: Proven track record of success in B2B sales, ideally within the commercial truck and trailer industry.
