Responsibilities
The Physical Rehabilitation RN renders professional nursing care to patients within the rehab unit for a for adolescent, adult and geriatric population, in support of medical care as directed by physicians, and in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures.
ALL REGISTERED NURSES will render professional nursing care to patients, support medical care as directed by physicians. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health/Dominican Hospital. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The RN shall support Dignity Health/Dominican Hospital's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- At least one year of recent hospital experience, which includes a minimum of 3 months in an acute care setting.
- Proficient in English. Verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills required.
License/Registration/Certification:
- Current and active CA RN license
- Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
Education:
ASN or Nursing Diploma, required
Preferred:
- BSN, preferred
- Current Rehabilitation Nursing (CRRN) Ceritifcation, preferred
