This position is reimbursed per a piece rate model. There is a base hourly rate for training, staff meetings and other pre-approved meetings. Employees receive reimbursement of $45-$55/billable service rendered depending on licensure type (LMHP-E or Licensed).
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Possess extensive knowledge of mental health conditions and best practices to appropriately diagnose and develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Strong oral and written communication skills to counsel and advise patients
- Work cohesively with peers and interdepartmental/external providers to address additional care or services, when required.
- Engage in weekly peer support and training opportunities.
- Working collaboratively with management team to maintain billable expectation
- Intervening with emergency care techniques and complying with reporting protocols during patient crisis
- Comply with Commonwealth of Virginia Mandated Reporting Laws.
- Responsible for monitoring and auditing case files.
- Maintain compliance with Licensure, HIPAA, Medicaid, Department of Social Services and other professional standards and funding sources.
- Maintain licensing as required
- Represent DOS in a positive and professional manner.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must physically reside in the state of Virginia
- Possess a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in the human services field, social work, education or other allied discipline and have at least 6 months experience working in a full time mental health provider.
- Diverse clinical background with previous outpatient therapy experience, preferred
- Must hold a valid, current Commonwealth of VA Driver’s License and be insurable by the company’s liability insurance.
