The Role.
A savvy Content Specialist to guide and develop the content creation process for our clients. As a content specialist, you will be required to research and define desired target audiences, manage the content creation and publishing process, and monitor consumer and content metrics.
To ensure success as a content specialist, you should show a keen eye for detail and be highly creative. A skilled content specialist should be an expert storyteller and possess excellent knowledge of consumer and content trends. This position includes 25% strategy and client communication. 75% hands-on research, implementation, platform publishing, and reporting on campaigns.
The essential functions of this client-facing Specialist position include the following:
- Work across departments, with the creative, digital, and account teams to ideate and define content goals and delivery assignments on time.
- Researching content and consumer trends to ensure that content is relevant and appealing.
- Developing content strategies to effectively reach the desired target audience and marketing goals.
- Creating content for a variety of social media platforms as well as websites, blogs, and press releases.
- Managing content calendars and ensuring that the content remains consistent across all platforms.
- Tracking consumer and content analytics and generating reports and presentations.
- Ensure implementation of best practice guidelines and follow company policies and processes.
They will possess the following skills/qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or similar fields.
- Preferred at least 2 years of experience in content creation, marketing, communications, or similar.
- Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress.
- Good knowledge of content and layout design tools such as Adobe Cloud products.
- Excellent computer skills with MS Office and Google Suite.
- Good knowledge of various content platforms such as social media, blogs, and print media.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of SEO, Online Search, Display Advertising, Social Media mediums and an understanding of how these channels work together.
- Knowledge of targeting tactics and when to use them: Retargeting, Lookalike, Interest & Behavior, etc.
- Digital Agency experience, Google Analytics, Experience with Social Media Platform advertising are all a plus.
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
