Job Summary: The Director of Warehouse Operations oversees the company's warehouse and distribution network, ensuring efficient and organized operations across all locations. This role involves hands on leadership in the warehouse environment, focusing on day-to-day operational improvements, employee engagement, safety, and compliance. The Director will drive consistent standards in cleanliness, organization, and readiness across all distribution centers, managing warehouse managers and supervisors to ensure streamlined logistics and optimal shipping operations.

- All warehouse managers
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Directly supervises warehouse managers and warehouse supervisors across multiple distribution locations.
- Leads the hiring, training, and performance evaluation of warehouse management teams.
- Develops and implements employee scheduling and workload management to optimize floor coverage.
- Conducts regular performance reviews and addresses disciplinary actions per company policy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Operations Management:
- Oversee the daily upkeep, organization, and cleanliness of all distribution centers, ensuring that each location meets company standards.
- Coordinate with warehouse managers to ensure timely and accurate shipment processing, maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
- Generate and approve material Requisitions to help each location meet company standards.
- Conduct audits and inspections of each warehouse to assess organization, cleanliness, and adherence to safety policies.
- Logistics and Shipping:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day shipping activities to ensure efficient operations, timely delivery, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Oversee and manage day-to-day receiving activities to ensure timely receipt of various types of material/cores are processed and in a timely but correct manner.
- Collaborate with the inventory management team to ensure stock availability aligns with shipping demands.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in warehouse layout, workflow, and employee engagement.
- Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and streamline warehouse and logistics processes.
- Employee Engagement and Training:
- Foster a positive warehouse environment through effective employee engagement, mentorship, and training.
- Conduct regular training sessions for employees on safety protocols, equipment handling, and organizational standards.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce adherence to safety standards, policies, and procedures at all distribution centers.
- Address and resolve any safety concerns promptly to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.

- Excellent organizational, problem solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods as needed.
