Currently our Elk Grove Village, IL office has an immediate opening for a Customer Service Representative.
Doumak, Inc. is The Marshmallow Company. It was founded in 1921. We are a leading producer of marshmallows sold under the Campfire® and Fireside® brands, and for private label brands. Our two Chicago area facilities provide packaged marshmallows for distribution world-wide through wholesale, retail grocery, and food service channels.

Primary Duties:
1. Managing orders (Receive/Input Orders; Production Follow-up; Manage revisions; Follow through with shipments; Schedule transportation Close out and file orders; Deduction follow up, including post audits.
2. Diagnose and determine customer issues, cause of issues, make recommendations, and communicate changes.
3. Customer specific set up (External forms/Internal system set-up).
4. Be able to manage information with a high degree of confidentiality.
5. Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed on assignments.
6. Organize and maintains efficient workflow scheduling in line with "customer" needs.
7. Quality statement – “Provide and deliver quality services to customers and vendors.”
8. Perform a variety of office support functions. Answering phones, screening and channeling calls, taking messages.
9. Other duties as assigned.
Skill Requirements and Qualifications:
- A four-year college degree is preferred
- 3-5 years customer service experience with consumer products, preferably servicing confectionary, food, drug and mass retailers; export market experience a Plus
- Experience and understanding of internal processes of the customer service function
- Knowledge of EDI order processing preferred
- Experience and understanding of ERP systems preferred
- MS Office proficiency

Annual Base Salary: $50,000.00. We offer a competitive benefits package for those who join us. Applicants will be required to pass a drug screen and background check prior to being hired.
