JOB SUMMARY : JOB SUMMARY :
The Maintenance Planner / Scheduler plans and schedules all maintenance work including day-to-day activities, one- day outages, and major shutdowns. In addition, the incumbent provides leadership and coaching to the maintenance team in driving them to achieve work objectives and performance standards.
The Maintenance Planner / Scheduler assists the plant in providing the necessary maintenance resources and record keeping that is required to increase plant productivity, assist in maintenance work preparations to improve work efficiencies and increase plant performance.
The Maintenance Planner / Scheduler will provide lead technical, business support and analysis for and within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) inclusive of support of asset management, work planning and spare parts inventory within the software. Coordinates the interface of the CMMS system, procedures and data transfer to various departments and databases. Ensures all CMMS procedures are developed and followed throughout the organization.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Education and Experience :
- High School Diploma or GED. Advanced degree / certification(s) in technical and / or maintenance related discipline preferred.
- Two to five (2-5) years of industrial experience in a chemical plant or other related industry experience. Experience working in a union environment a plus.
- One to three (1-3) years’ maintenance and supervisory experience.
- Must have a minimum of one to three (1-3) years’ maintenance planner / scheduler experience.
- Working knowledge of chemical plant equipment (pumps, piping, heat exchangers, vessels, instrumentation, etc.).
- Background in maintenance and repair of equipment to effectively plan daily maintenance department activities.
- Experience working and managing on a PSM site. PHA and MOC experience are strongly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of chemical of chemical manufacturing systems and processes.
- I must have strong and experienced project management skills,
- One to three (1-3) years’ MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operating materials) Inventory Management Experience.
