Job Description Summary :
As a Project Technician (MET), this position requires a good working knowledge of several key areas of metrology including DC / Low Frequency, RF / Microwave, Time and Frequency. As a Project Technician for the Calibration area, you will need experience calibrating, troubleshooting, aligning and repairing the following types of Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment :

Duties / Responsibilities
- RF Analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, counters, GPS receivers / simulators, and other types of test equipment and standards.
- With limited or no supervision carefully, document work consistent with Draper's policies, procedures, and standards in written form or using common computer-based software.
- Applies test experience in the execution of acceptance procedures independently or in collaboration with senior technical personnel.
- Program computer controlled automated and semi-automated equipment withing the tool's software.
- Training will be provided to teach the routines needed to program the equipment.
- As needed, mentor, train or collaborate as a team with more junior technicians.
- Ability to remain flexible with performing other temporary assignments within the scheduled workday and site location at the discretion of the supervisor.
