Description
POSITION PURPOSE
- The Therapist will monitor and track the implementation of therapy, analyze services both quantitatively and qualitatively, and provide therapy and case management services, including but not limited to: providing support to maintain the consumer’s preferred level of independence and community integration, psychosocial skills training, and supportive counseling .
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
- Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree and experience in Substance Abuse Treatment.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of five years professional / clinical experience in the field of mental health social work of which a minimum of one year should pertain to the field of Residential or Detoxification services.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
- LCSW, LMHT or LMFT
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Ability to work as a team member and have management, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under stressful conditions and be flexible in relation to department needs.
- Knowledge of DDAP Standards.
- Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards.
- Demonstrates Proficiency in Verbal & Written Communication Skills.
- Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality Laws.
- Knowledge of Drug-Free Workplace Policies.
- Knowledge of Workplace Violence.
- Knowledge of Corporate Integrity & Compliance Program.
- Knowledge of current utilized technology.
