Drive Wealth Advisers is an established Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm looking to hire an Investment Operations Associate to support our trading and investment operations team. This role is essential to maintaining accurate client account performance, transaction reporting, and trading execution. Key Responsibilities:
-Trading and Execution: Execute trades across client accounts in line with portfolio strategy and client objectives. Ensure timely, accurate trading and adherence to compliance guidelines.
-Transaction and Performance Reporting: Monitor, record, and verify all transactions in client accounts to ensure accurate performance reporting. Maintain and update performance data as necessary.
-Account Maintenance and Reconciliation: Conduct daily account reconciliation to ensure accuracy in transaction recording, holdings, and performance reporting. Identify and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
-Client Communication Support: Collaborate with advisors to prepare client-facing reports and respond to inquiries regarding transactions and account performance as needed.
-Compliance and Documentation: Maintain proper documentation and compliance records for trading activities, ensuring compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements.
Growth Opportunities:
-Municipal Bond Program: Gain exposure to municipal bond investments, including credit analysis, pricing, and portfolio integration.
-Structured Notes: Develop an understanding of structured notes, including risk and return characteristics, and assist in evaluating these instruments for client portfolios.
-Alternative Investments: Work with the investment team to gain knowledge about alternative investment products, assessing their potential role and performance in diversified portfolios.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or related field.
-Prior experience in investment operations, trading, or finance is preferred.
-Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
-Proficiency with portfolio management and trading platforms is a plus.
-Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
-Interest in expanding knowledge in municipal bonds, structured notes, and alternative
investments.
