- Job Summary:
The project manager (PM) is responsible for utilizing the resources of the team to assure that all projects are completed on time and on-budget as well as the customers satisfaction with the project. In addition, the Project Manager is responsible for solidifying job contracts by building good relationships with the customer, building value and maintaining successful profit margins on each project.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service, Communication, and Sales
You are the first response to job opportunities. It is your job to dispatch to a project, inspect & sign the job. You will call the customer typically before the mitigation is complete to introduce yourself and set up a site inspection to gather the necessary information pertaining to the reconstruction necessary to complete the project.
Educate the customer on the processes of reconstruction, insurance process, job schedule and completion, and establish realistic expectations for the process.
Work closely with all customers and subcontractors to fulfill RAVING FAN service experience.
Ensure all communication between customer and production workers is handled effectively using professional techniques and adequate supervision so that all work provided by subcontractors or in-house employees meets or exceeds Company standards of making RAVING FANS not just of the customer, but the referring parties, insurance company etc.
Ensure delivery of excellent customer service and communication.
Customer inquiries/complaints are monitored, quickly acted upon, and properly recorded in Dash.
Initiate all required contracts, authorizations, and other required documents with customers.
Documentation of work flow process in job notes located in the project file in Dash, in a timely and accurate manner within the designed timeframes.
Project Scoping & Sales:
Meeting adjusters on the job-site when able
Delivering estimates and final billings where applicable
Maintaining good reporting to know all W.I.P (work in process) and that we are taking advantage of all opportunities to serve our clients.
Production:
Review and approve all project schedules and budgets
Be able to provide expected rough timelines and scope to the production manager.
Review job costing weekly to ensure that the jobs are proceeding as expected.
Visit job sites as needed to assist in production to assure that they are proceeding as expected.
Make routine calls to customers to ensure they are pleased with the job progress and to answer any questions they may have.
Assist in pricing change orders and supplements.
Complete all open items and supplements and turn into production manager to supply info to the adjuster.
Post Production Responsibilities:
Contact all customers to assure that they are pleased with the project
Assure that all invoices are prepared and processed quickly
Collect any outstanding payments as needed
Review project profitability to ensure we met our target of 50% GP.
Hold a project debriefing to discuss how the project was handled and what should have been done differently to continuously enhance and improve processes within the company.
