Summary
The Field Service Representative (FSR) reports directly to the Project Manager of Operations and is responsible for ensuring accountability and control of government, customer, and company property in compliance with applicable regulations and corporate policies. Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining property records through document collection and verification, conducting physical inventories, analyzing property records and lifecycle outcomes, managing disposition cases, reviewing contracts for closeout verification, and preparing for audits by retrieving and reporting records.
The FSR will collaborate with various departments to address complex property issues, prepare specialized reports, secure proper authorization for the use of government property, and stay informed on regulatory changes to ensure compliance. Additional duties include developing employee training on regulatory requirements and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Essential Functions
- Maintain accountability and chain of custody for government-furnished property (GFP) and contractor-acquired property (CAP) across multiple programs.
- Ensure compliance with program-specific DST government property manuals and recommend modifications as needed.
- Perform routine internal audits, coordinate sponsor-required audits, and collaborate with sponsor property management personnel.
- Design and implement training programs on government property processes and responsibilities.
- Track and manage DST company-owned property.
- Create special-purpose reports and ensure timely submission to leadership and government representatives.
- Oversee the lifecycle management of property, including acquisition, maintenance, disposition, and contract closeout verification.
- Oversee the security, general maintenance, safety, and stock of a small facility. Arrange appointments and supervise hired contractors and other skilled labor.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm with a one-hour unpaid lunch. However, occasional evening and weekend shifts may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
While rare, travel may be required as requested by customers. Traveling includes overnight staysoutside of the standard working location.
Required Education and Requirements
- At least three years’ experience with inventory.
- At least one years’ experience with government property.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelors’ degree.
- One year of experience in an aviation or defense related industry.
- Knowledge of SI/EW equipment is a plus.
- Veteran Status Preferred.
Other Hiring Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License.
- U.S. Citizenship status required.
- Must hold a DOD TS SCI Level Clearance.
- Must pass a DOT/FAA regulated drug screening.
