About the Role: Software Intern
As a Software Intern, you will:
- Receive personalized training from an IT professional with 20 years of experience in DoD and private industry.
- Work on real-world projects supporting our Recruitment or IT teams.
- Enhance your technical skills through a customized instructional plan.
- Apply your knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and programming languages to solve complex challenges.
- Gain proficiency in version control tools like Git and build expertise in software engineering.
- Strengthen your **problem-solving, time management, and communication skills** in a professional setting.
- Complete IT coursework and projects under expert mentorship.
Required Qualifications:
- Academic Background: Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- GPA: Minimum of 3.0 (provide unofficial transcripts).
- Programming Skills: Experience or coursework in languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C .
- Location: Reside within 20 miles of Baltimore, Maryland, or attend a nearby accredited institution (e.g., University of Maryland Baltimore County preferred).
- Technical Knowledge: Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.
- Personal Attributes: Problem-solving abilities, analytical mindset, and excellent communication skills.
