The project manager position oversees all aspects of the construction projects, from planning to completion. Their responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, coordinating tasks, managing resources, ensuring safety compliance, and communicating with owners. Project Managers are responsible for project delivery, quality control, and resolving issues that may arise throughout the project. The project manager works closely with the Director of Operations and Site Supervisor to ensure efficient processes throughout the project.
Responsibilities:
- Project planning and scheduling
- Coordinate with contractors on schedule timelines, goals, and objectives.
- Material ordering & delivery to the site.
- Material acquisition and management.
- Guide and direct field technicians and subcontractors.
- Lead, motivate, and manage project teams effectively.
- Enforce punch lists
- Ensure quality standards are met.
- Ensure project teams are working effectively and efficiently.
- Communication
- Maintain clear and open communication with all project team members and contractors.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and milestones.
- Permitting and Compliance
- Manage the acquisition of necessary permits and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Management of DNR regulations and proper record keeping.
- Safety and Compliance
- Prioritize and enforce safety protocols on the construction site.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Evaluate project performance and implement lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Preferred
- 4-5 years project management experience
- A degree or certificate in construction management
Required
