This Role:
Our team is currently seeking a collaborative Quality Technician based at our production facility in Huntsville, AL. This will be a 2nd Shift role (3:30p-12a M-F) reporting to the Quality Manager.
What You Will Do:
The Quality Technician is responsible for helping the production facility meet customer commitments by identifying/analyzing defective product in order to determine root causes of failures, and of course, minimizing future occurrences.
How You Will Do It:
- Under general supervision, approve finished productions, in-process production, and specifications for incoming materials
- Conduct visual and measurement tests, return products for re-work
- Assist with QA and other audits to identify unfavorable trends in process or product quality
- Recommends preventative and/or corrective actions to mitigate risk
- Prepare and distribute in-plant quality summaries/reports
- Other duties as assigned

- Previous professional quality experience (required)

Work Environment:
Candidate will need ability to be safely move throughout plant, including standing, bending, and occasional lifting. Due to the metal nature of materials used in this facility, PPE will include steel toed shoes, protective eyewear, and arm sleeves.
