Dwell Design Studio is seeking an experienced Construction Administrator (CA) with insane problem-solving skills to guide the Construction Administration Process with one of our design teams, and serve as a liaison between our design professionals, consultants, contractors, and client representatives.

What you'll do:
- Administrating the construction process; reviewing Submittals and Shop Drawings, responding to RFI s, preparing drawing revisions, and coordinating with Engineering Consultants.
- Reviewing construction documents, project construction budgets and evaluate construction progress
- Processing Applications for Payment
- Observing construction work in progress to ensure performance with specifications and contract documents
- Creating Field Reports
- QC Reviews with coordinated sets of working drawings
- Analyzing shop drawings of varying complexity, as well as reporting problems and deviations from plans and specifications to the project design team.
- Maintains Submittal and RFI Logs.
- Takes a team-oriented approach to the Construction Process.
- Mentors younger staff and leads group site visits.
What you need to bring:
- Five or more years of experience in CA role for Architectural firm
- Experience in all project phases
- Experience in multifamily, mixed-use or student housing construction strongly preferred
- Have a positive attitude with a sense of humor
- Excellent time management, written, and verbal communication skills
- Responsive: Excellent organizational skills and follow-through ability
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
